What a great success!

We hope you got the chance to join us at RIT last Saturday for the 8th Annual
Ride & Drive event as a part of National Drive Electric Week!

In case you missed it, check out some highlights!

On September 14, over 200 people came down to RIT to learn, share and experience the benefits of owning and driving an electric vehicle!

We had the opportunity of including 70 owner vehicles, as well as 7 cars sponsored by the local dealerships: O’Connor Chevrolet, Dorshel Auto Group and Vision Auto Group Webster

So many people had the opportunity to test drive an electric vehicle from such a large selection.

Thanks to the Tesla Owner’s Club of New York State, there were over 50 Tesla test drives.

Additionally, thanks to the dealership sponsored vehicles, there were 58 test drives in the non-Tesla EVs, for a total of…

108 test drives!

It wouldn’t have been possible without all the organizations involved!

  • Rob’s Kabob’s food truck

  • A special showcase of the RIT EV Team’s electric bike that was designed and built by a student team.

  • Live music by Cynthea Kelley, Steve Feder, and Anson Styles!
  • And so many local grassroots organizations spreading the knowledge and interest in sustainable practices.

A special thanks to the New York Electric Auto Association and Tesla Owner’s Club of NY for co-hosting the Ride & Drive event with GRCC
