Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program

The Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Discretionary Grant Program provides funds to strategically deploy publicly accessible electric vehicle charging and alternative fueling infrastructure in the places people live and work – urban and rural areas alike – in addition to along designated Alternative Fuel Corridors (AFCs). Applications for round 2 must be submitted in Grants.gov by midnight Eastern time on August 28, 2024.

NY School Bus Incentive Program

The NY School Bus Incentive Program is a voucher incentive program which will accelerate the deployment of zero-emission school buses and charging infrastructures throughout New York State. Zero-emission school buses include both electric school buses and hydrogen fuel cell school buses (collectively ESB’s). An initial total of $100M is available to fund the acquisition of new ESBs and charging infrastructure costs.

Clean Bus Planning Awards (CBPA)

The Clean Bus Planning Awards (CBPA) provides free technical assistance to create comprehensive and customized bus electrification plans for school and transit fleets across the United States. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

EPA Clean School Bus Program

The EPA Clean School Bus Program provides $5 billion over five years (FY 2022-2026) to replace existing school buses with zero-emission and clean school buses with funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The program includes information on rebate funding, grant funding, webinars, technical assistance, workforce development, and educational materials.

 

Joint Utilities of New York EV Make Ready Program

The Joint Utilities of New York EV Make Ready Program provides incentives for electric vehicle infrastructure development and equipment within New York State by reducing the upfront costs of building charging stations for EVs.

NYSERDA's Charge Ready 2.0

NYSERDA’s Charge Ready 2.0 offers incentives to public, private and not-for-profit organizations that install Level 2 EV charging stations at workplaces, multi-unit dwellings (MUD’s) or public facilities that are owned and operated by municipal or state government entities.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fueling Property Credit

The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fueling Property Credit can be used to determine your credit for alternative fuel vehicle refueling property that you placed in service during the tax year.

Federal Electric School Bus Tax Credits 30C and 45W

The Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit (45W) is a tax credit that provides up to $40,000 for each delivered electric school bus. The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit (30C) is a tax credit that provides up to 30% of project costs, with a maximum of $100,000, for electric charging infrastructure installed in low-income or non-urban communities.

NY Drive Clean Rebate

The NYS Drive Clean Rebate offers electric vehicle (EV) buyers up to $2,000 off the purchase or lease of 60+ new EV models.

Consumer EV Federal Tax Credits

Consumer EV Federal Tax Credits provides a list of federal tax credits and incentives for both new and pre owned EVs.
