About Us

GRCC works locally to advance affordable, domestic transportation fuels, energy efficient mobility systems, and other fuel saving technologies and practices. We support a transition from conventional, petroleum fueled vehicles to alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs).

Our vision is to build a community that uses clean, affordable, and accessible energy for its personal and commercial transportation services.

25 Years of Service

GRCC was designated as a coalition in 1998 and currently serves a population of over a million people in our 9-county region. As we commemorate GRCC’s 25th anniversary in 2023, we celebrate a quarter-century of groundbreaking contributions to the promotion of alternative fuels.GRCC has been at the forefront of transforming our region’s transportation landscape by tirelessly advocating for and implementing sustainable solutions. From spearheading initiatives to increase the use of electric vehicles to promoting the adoption of natural gas and biofuels, GRCC has played a pivotal role in reducing carbon footprints and mitigating the environmental impact of mobility.

Our two and a half decades of dedication have not only advanced the cause of alternative fuels but have also set a standard for collaborative, forward-thinking approaches that inspire communities nationwide to embrace cleaner, more sustainable transportation practices.

Cheers to 25 years of innovation, impact, and a brighter, greener future!
