This summer, the Greater Rochester Clean Cities(GRCC) coalition is sponsoring a student through the U Department of Energy (USDOE) Workforce Development Program.

Taylor is a Rochester local and a recent graduate from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in Syracuse, NY where she received a B.S. in Sustainable Energy Management and a minor in Economics. In this program, she explored topics related to renewable energy resources, project finance, management and multiple tools that can assist in determining the most sustainable choice in business activities.

She enjoys hiking, friends, spending time on Conesus Lake and just about anything as long as its outdoors. Taylor has a thirst for traveling and hopes to live and work overseas in the future.

This summer she has started classes to further her studies in the Masters of Business Administration program at Le Moyne University in Syracuse, NY. Taylor has a passion for energy efficiency, waste mitigation, and consumer adaptation in the current state of the climate crisis, and hopes to make a positive impact in whatever industry or sector she finds herself in post-graduate school.

She is excited to further her understanding of the sustainable transportation sector, as well as facilitate the GRCC in reaching the goals set around petroleum reduction and energy efficiency in transportation. She is the person of contact for the ROC EV program, and can’t wait to share information and her enthusiasm for sustainable consumer choices.
