Public comments welcome as we develop our five-year strategic plan

On Feb. 25, 2015, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) hosted a public meeting to collect input for a new Clean Cities program five-year strategic plan. The purpose of the meeting was to solicit input from a broad range of program stakeholders, including those in industry and local, state, and federal government, on how best to advance deployment of alternative fuels, advanced vehicles, and other technologies in the Clean Cities portfolio.

Whether you attended the meeting or not, we invite you to provide your comments on the strategy. To gather additional input, a comment form will be available until March 13, 2015. You may provide input on niche markets or target areas for alternative fuels, advanced vehicle technologies, and petroleum reduction practices. Certain niche markets are listed as they were determined by laboratory experts to be opportunities for Clean Cities.
