NY School Bus Incentive Program (NYSBIP)

The NY School Bus Incentive Program is a voucher-based incentive program that will accelerate the deployment of zero-emission school buses and charging infrastructure throughout New York State. Zero-emission school buses include both electric and hydrogen fuel cell school buses (collectively ESB’s). An initial total of $100M is available to fund the acquisition of new ESBs and charging infrastructure costs.

NY Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP)

The NY Truck Voucher Incentive Program is administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and provides funding for electric non-road equipment. All non-road equipment is eligible for vouchers equivalent to 35% of the base price of the equipment on a per-unit basis, and non-road equipment projects that have depots or primary work locations located within disadvantaged communities (DAC’s) are eligible for a 10% DAC Bonus.

NYSERDA's Charge Ready 2.0

NYSERDA’s Charge Ready 2.0 offers rebates on a per-port basis to public, private and not-for-profit organizations that install Level 2 EV charging stations at workplaces, multi-unit dwellings (MUD’s) or public facilities that are owned and operated by municipal or state government entities.

    TAX CREDITS

    Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fueling Property Credit

    The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fueling Property Credit can be used to determine your credit for alternative fuel vehicle refueling property that you placed in service during the tax year.

    NY Drive Clean Rebate

    The NYS Drive Clean Rebate offers electric vehicle (EV) buyers up to $2,000 off the purchase or lease of 60+ new EV models.

    Consumer EV Federal Tax Credits

    Consumer EV Federal Tax Credits provides a list of federal tax credits and incentives for both new and pre owned EVs.
